DIY Air Freshener Decoration

Yay! A quick and easy DIY air freshener that looks great with your farmhouse style decor! This DIY is super easy and you might already have all the supplies on hand. It's perfect for any room in the house and it doesn't even look like an air freshener so it just blends in with your decor.

All you need is a mason jar, rice (or baking soda), some faux flowers and your favorite smelling essential oils. That's it. Super easy.

Simply pour in rice, add your oils, give it a little swirl to mix it up and place your flowers in of the jar. The recipe I used in this large mason jar was 1 cup of rice, 20 drops of lavender oil and 15 drops of peppermint oil. This combination is perfect for your bathroom. Lavender oil is often used for headaches, anxiety and restlessness. Peppermint oil has a clean, cool and crisp aroma and when paired with the Lavender oil you can enjoy the benefits of both a fresh, clean and calm enviornment.

There are many different oil combinations you can use. You can do Peppermint and Lemon. You can do Tea Tree, Lemon and Lime. You can do Orange, Cinnamon and Clove. You can do Lavender, Cedar wood and Chamomile. The possibilities are endless. Each room you may want a different smell in it so it is all your own personal preference.
